Course Objectives:
This course examines the roles of developmental factors and psychological, sociological and biological changes in the transition from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to young and advanced adulthood.
Course Content:
To describe the emergence of biological, cognitive and social changes in adolescence, to examine the effects of family, friends, school, media and work types that play a role in adolescence development, to describe interpersonal and personal changes in adolescence, to explain the nature and emergence of psycho-social problems in adulthood.
