Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is to provide students with a total of 12 sessions of counseling experience with real clients using basic counseling skills and techniques.
Course Content:
The scope of this course is to allow counselor candidates to conduct individual counseling sessions under the supervision of the lecturer. In particular, this course introduces the ways of creating therapeutic cooperation with clients, conducting the preliminary interview session, preparing interview reports for each session, and using counseling skills and techniques effectively in the process. This course focuses on students' concerns about individual counseling, the problems they encounter in the sessions, and their ability to cope with possible difficulties in the process, emphasizing their first counseling experience.
