Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge and a basic perspective on subjects such as the definition of comparative education, its history, the purposes for which countries use comparative education, the importance of the field for Turkey, and comparative education in terms of the Turkish education system.
Course Content: 

Definition, scope, aims, benefits, historical development of comparative education, new approaches, methods, research models about comparative education.Comparison of the Turkish education system with the education systems of other countries (such as USA, Russia, Japan, Finland, France, England, Germany), contemporary approaches, problems encountered in comparative education.

Course Methodology: 
1: Lecture, 2: Case study, 3: Problem solving 4:Discussion 5:Simulation 6: Group work
Course Evaluation Methods:
