Assist Prof. Berke Kırıkkanat was born in Mersin. She completed her first eight years of education in Mersin, and her high school education in Burak Bora Anatolian High School in Istanbul. She completed her undergraduate study in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Boğaziçi University in 2010, and her master's degree in the field of Applied Psychology at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul Commerce University in 2012, and her Ph.D degree in the field of guidance and counseling at the Institute of Educational Sciences, Marmara University in 2016. She has articles in peer-reviewed journals scanned in national and international indexes, papers in national and international congresses, and master's theses supervised by her. Dr. Berke Kırıkkanat teaches undergraduate and graduate courses. Her research areas are academic success, academic trust, academic coping, creativity, romantic relationships, couples and family counseling with attachment.In addition, she gives seminars in the field of career counseling.
