Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to to provide the students with fundamental concepts in the field of SLA. The focus of the course will be on the theories of learning, theories of SLA, the correspondence between the two, and the way they inform the students in improving their teaching profession.
Course Content: 

A critical review and practical applications of SLA theories will assist the students in designing classroom learning experiences and, developing a classroom learning community. Only primary theories and perspectives related to second language learning including behavioral, developmental, cognitive, social-cognitive, constructivist, and sociocultural learning theories will be covered. In addition, the course will attempt the issue of how these theories address student motivation, self-regulation, and classroom management. 

Course Methodology:
