Uzaktan eğitim, emeğin ve örgütsel ilkelerin bölünmelerinin uygulanmasıyla ve teknik medyanın yaygın kullanımı ile, özellikle mümkün kılan yüksek kaliteli öğretim materyalini üretecek şekilde rasyonalize edilen, bilgi, beceri ve tutum kazandırma yöntemidir.
